Silver Cross Scout Centre has been developed by Glamorgan West Area Scout Council to serve the needs of the Scout Movement locally and also on a National and International level.

In addition, Silver Cross is also used by many other youth organisations, and the site's facilities are suitable for the disabled and also various ethnic groups.
